Can i anybody tell me,  Some Excel file is not opening in my sharepoint 2010.

When i try to open i am getting the Data Validation Error:

The below is the error message i am getting

The workbook cannot be opened because it contains the following features that are not supported by Excel in the browser:
Data Validation.

Can anyone help me regarding this issue.

Hi Rama.

SharePoint opens Office files in the browser be means of the Office Web Apps and some service applications that allow you to perform some operations on the files themselves.
If those files use some features that are specific of the Office client application they've been created for (Excel, in this scenario) and that are not available in Office Web Apps and/or SharePoint service application then the error occurs: you have to open that Excel file in Excel rather than in the browser.
