A lot of our customers are having troubles showing WMV files with our WPF product were we use the MediaElement for showing videos.

We are not able to show (all kinds of avi/mpg/wmv) videos on pc's like the hp thinclient i5370 with embedded windows version.
Updating drivers/codecs etc.. have no effect.

What is the best way to find out for a customer where there problem is located?

This is getting very frustrating for us.

Windows Media Player must be updated to at least version 10 in order to use MediaElement. Maybe they only have version 9 installed (this is possible on XP, not on Vista).
