I am developing a system whereby people can login into an Azure Sql Server database using a MS Access front end. However, the login laptops may be anywhere in the world and it is impossible to anticipate the IP address. Can I overcome this by authenticating through Azure directory services. Yes, I believe you can achieve the same by using the Azure AD Authentication for Azure SQL Database as Azure AD supports token based authentication instead of SQL server authentication for applications connecting to SQL Databases created on Azure SQL Server.  Please refer to MSDN documentations -
