Hi All,

I have been trying to map a CNAME record from awverify.mysite.com to awverify.mysubdomain.azurewebsites.net, with a few issues. I currently have mysubdomain.azurewebsites.net registered as a DNS zone, with awverify as an A record pointing to "X.X.X.X". The I have initially just been trying to get awverify.mysubdomain.azurewebsites.net to resolve correctly, but I've been having issues with such.

If I try and resolve the site awverify.mysubdomain.azurewebsites.net without specifying DNS (nslookup <site>), the lookup does not resolve. However, if I try to resolve the site while specifying the nameserver in the DNS zone (nslookup <site> nsX-0Y.azure-dns.com), it resolves and points to the correct IP. Additionally, a lookup on mysubdomain.azurewebsites.net without specifying NS resolves preperly, its simply the zone record that doesn't resolve.

Has anyone else run into this issue and has a solution? My initial thought was propagation delay, but its been roughly 24 hours with no success.
