I am attempting to set the End Time on a SharePoint calendar item via workflow. I'm starting with a default date and time (current time), doing a calculation using a Calculated field in the calendar and then via workflow setting the End Time to be the value in the calculated field. I consistently get an error: "Invalid data has been used to update the list item".  All fields involved are Date Time fields.  I can perform the same operation on date fields in a standard list successfully.  Is there something different about these fields in a calendar?

Per my test, I cannot update the End Time column using workflow action too.

And if I create a new column which type is Date&Time in this calendar, then I can update this column value.

As a workaround,I suggest you creating another end date column and update.
