This is a biased opinion, but I don''t think you should concentrate on Oracle ERP solely. Instead learn and understand the principles of ERP systems. Oracle is just one tool to achieve the goals.

With ERP systems, the point is always to get business benefits. There are many solutions to achieve this and in my opinion if you master the ideology you can use the best tool in your project.

Yes, you''re right, being an expert in one tool is beneficial but for your future career I would say that having a wider expertise pays back a whole lot better.

About Oracle ERP, well, look at the market share. It''s big and growing. If you like you can make a living with concentrating on this product. But again, where do you see yourself in 10-15 years :) If you''re fine with a single product I see no problem choosing Oracle (again a biased opinion).
