I don''t think it is a good idea to store image in DB. instead what you should do is:

1. Have a virtual directory configured to save images.
2. use the path relative to virtual directory to use the images in the website.
3. Store this virtual path in the database.

but still you wanna save the images in Database you may wanna read about the BLOB data operations and the databases that support this.
