hi can any one tel me what type of error is this..

error like

it is an error to use a section registered as allowDefination=''MachineApplication'' beyond application level.this error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS

how to solve this problem??

Hi ythisbug,

Normaly this occurs when you don''t open the website from its root problem.

For eg you have 1 folder Projects and in that your project folder like HospitalMgmt
means your path is

D:/Projects/HospitalMgmt

When you open the website using open website dialogue box go to HospitalMgmt root folder and then open your website then this problem will solve.


I have solve this problem using this solution pls check and reply me if solve.
