I am Basker completed .net in 2011 fresher .in interview if they ask why did you choose dotnet rather than java what should i reply please give me suggesion

You could try being honest. Why did you chose .NET over Java? Did you know anything about them when you signed up? Or did you even know what the course would cover?

Honesty can work. But to answer a question like that (and it is not that likley to come up unless the job requires both or talks about both) would mean you needed to know a fair amount about both before you did the course.

Or there is always "because I wanted a job here, and that''s what you use"

You are doing wrong thing: thinking about a question nobody asked you yet. You can invent a million of even more idiotic questions, just to hurt your nerves. Why doing it? Better focus om your real knowledge and skills.

Don''t try to predict questions or learn what question others were asked, don''t try to prepare yourself for asking any particular question — this is totally useless (unless it can please your somehow :-)).

As Griff correctly put, "honesty can work". Therefore, do not try to answer each and every question, even the one which you don''t like or you cannot consider as a sensible one. Better openly explain your concern about such question. If you are talking with reasonable people, and if your concerns are reasonable, they will understand you, if not — are you sure you want to work with them? Same thing is when you don''t know the answer — don''t afraid to plainly admit it.
