I have a database in SQL. Unfortunately i am Reinstalled my OS, So i have copied my database from C: The files are in .mdf,.log files I want to Restore or Copied to use in SQL server. How to do it. Please somebody help for this Problem. Please.......

Go to ProgramFiles and find the installation folder of SQL Server. You will find folders there which is self-descriptive. Inside one of those folders, you will find tables named ''master'', etc..... Paste both .mdf and .log files into the same folder.

Now, go to SQL Server Management Studio and choose ''Add database'' browse your .mdf file and you should retrieve it from here.

Hi,

In your SQL management studio Rightclick on Databases, Click on Attach... one popup will display and ask you to add your databases.

Now Click on Add... button and select your database to attach with SQL server.
