Such code will be really hard to find. As to "other CDs" — you don''t need any. If you really want to migrate to VB.NET (yes, using VB6 is just ridiculous), you should at least know that the VB.NET and C# compilers are bundled with every version of (freely redistributed) .NET Framework. Visual Studio does not build anything, it simply launches the tools available in .NET and provided for you free of charge.

The real problem is not that VB6 is "too old". It never was any good to use, even at the moment of its creation. VB.NET is probably the first decent product.
