Hi, i''ve been working with winapi and wondering for awhile now, why the buttons i create just using winapi look so much worse than the buttons from say a windows form or the like? the buttons i make are all rectangular, flat, gray, and feels a little too much like windows 2000, and then the buttons in a form look sleek, shiny, and like the ones off the win 7 calculator. something devious is obviously afoot. any help here?
