Hello all,

I bumped into an error which is basically saying;

The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters.

The workaround for it, is to move my project close to the root folder or change the build location.

My curiousity is;

Is it possible to change the build location without using Team Explorer(Team Foundatition Server) ?

Within Project properties, under the Build tab, there is a section called Output.

You should be able to change the output path.

Changed it, recompiled my DLL; it worked.
