i have a remote database in MySQL using visual basic 6.0 to update my website records,
but when i connect to the mysql database it takes time to load or to read my connection and some queries upon loading, i would to create a loading form or just a message like "Please Wait Connecting to Database" to inform the user that the system is still connecting to it, i am using ADODB for my connection, can you please give me a sample code or a reference or anything that will help me to solve my problem.

Im not reallu sure if you can implement ajax progress bar here. But what I can sugget is to put a note to inform that the process may takes some time. So the design might help you on how to implement it.
