I need (important) to modify each picture of an motion jpeg file.
For other image preocessing I use OpenGL.

a) load an MJPEG file in C++
b) get an image (CImage, byte array, ...)?

Opengl is not for image processing. What are you trying to achieve ?

BTW , regarding mpeg reading, you could use ffdshow[^], or directshow libraries.
