Whenever I add a Class Designer (.cd)file to my Project in Visual Studio 2008 IDE, there are no tools at all in the toolbox(except for pointer and comment tools which are useless anyway). When I right click in the toolbox and choose show all, all the tools shown are grayed out (not usable).

What tools you are expecting to be available for class designer file? None of the controls available in the toolbox can be used on that type of file, thus VS disable/gray them out!

I thought that it is possible to use the class designer to at least create the skeleton of a class so that VS can generate the corresponding code for this skeleton.Just as VS will generate the corresponding code for a C# form. This is what I saw in MSDN.
