Hi,

Does anybody know how to get all of the port names on a windows mobile device (WM6) in C# preferably or VB. The System.IO.Ports.SerialPort.GetPortNames() method doesn''t seem to get all of them that exist on the device.

This seems to be a bug with non null terminated post names. Look at this thread, there is also a vb.net work around that could easily be ported.

Hi, thanks for that, that is very interesting to know. However, my problem is more in the direction of that the System.IO.Ports.SerialPort.GetPortNames() does not return the virtual ports such as Bluetooth and Infra red. It only seems to return the physical hardware ports.

Do you have any ideas about how to get these ports as a list?
