I have visual studio 2005 and 2008 installed in my machine when I try opening any of those, it opens and then suddenly closes up again. Please help

Sounds like it''s broken. Have you installed anything else that could be messing with it ? Have you reinstalled or removed and reinstaleld it to see if that fixes it ? Do you get any sort of error message ?

Yes, some patch was installed on the server I think it then corrupted VS. But after installing dotnetfix it seems to be working fine
