i have one image in updateprogress, now i want that image to display on
form at the time of form processing...and after processing that form should be display in format as it was before submission.

So whats the problem? You can define an image in updateprogress. Use that for the updatepanel that is upating the form (time of fprm processing)... once update panel is updated, updateprogress will automatically hide.
