hello Folks,

I have been asked to investigate the possibility of interacting with Adobe Flash, capturing text from the application and subsequently submitting a response.

After a little hunt around, I don''t believe this to be possible, but before I throw the towel in completely I thought I''d ask the question here.

It would be dead easy to capture/post to http, but flash...?

As far as I know flash movies can be decompiled, in that case you should be able to get access to the text. Or can can run OCR on each frame in flash movie and detect text. I hear OCR libraries are quite good these days.
