I installed Windows 8 Release Preview over Windows 7 Home Premium. I then installed Visual Studio 2012 RC. 

When trying to run my first app, it displayed the Window "Get a developer license for Windows 8". I clicked I Agree and received the following error in a dialog box:

We couldn't get your developer license for WIndows 8 Error 0x800706BE: The remote procedure call failed.

I also get the same error when trying to acquire a developer license through Windows PowerShell run as an administrator. I entered the command Show-WindowsDeveloperLicenseRegistration.

I tried getting support from support.microsoft.com but they said it was MSDN that are working with these issues with Windows 8.

Has anybody else had this issue and if so how might I go about solving this problem as I really want to get developing asap.
