We are currently investigating an issue with our SharePoint Online site.

In simple terms we have a list that contains contact records. We have another list that we populate by using an InfoPath form. This InfoPath form has a Dropdown menu that is supposed to pull the contact data from the first list. This dropdown is no longer pulling the data across from the first list.

We've duplicated some workflows and looked at the data connections in InfoPath but are unable to see what is causing the issue. I'll describe the issue in more detail and add some screenshots later.

Steps to reproduce:

We have one list called the Course Attendance List and another called the Call Evaluation List.

 Our agents need to add some contacts from the Course Attendance List to the Call Evaluation List. They do this by clicking "new item" in the Call Evaluation List. This opens up an InfoPath form that includes a dropdown. The agents then click the dropdown.

Expected behaviour:

The dropdown shows users from the Course Attendance list. They then choose the users and complete the form. Then the Call Evaluation list should the newly added record.

Actual behaviour:

The dropdown is only showing previous contact records. The newer, recent data that has been added to the Course Attendance list is not showing up in the dropdown. So the agents cannot add these new contacts to the Call Evaluation list.

I've created a screenshot of some of the errors that relate to the duplicated workflow that we created yesterday (cannot upload this until my account is verified).

The errors seem to relate to the new workflow called "Duplicate of Warrior Look up list".

Here are the errors from the workflow history:

The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information. An error has occurred in Duplicate of Warrior Look up list. Hi,

It seems that the issue is caused by InfoPath data connection.

What’s function of the workflow you provided? Is it created in Course Attendance list? Could you provide the logic of this workflow?

Try to fix the issue, please check if "Automatically retrieve data when form is opened" option is checked in the data connection configurations.

If the issue still occurs, please remove the data connection and re-add it again.
