I have configured workflow manager 1.0 cu2 and updated to cu3 and then to cu4, service bus 1.1 and all the cu's, and also workflow manager client cu4 on workflow manager server and all the SharePoint farm servers

I get the following error when I click on the workflow Service Application Proxy:

SharePoint 2013 Workflows requires a compatible workflow service configured with SharePoint such as SharePoint Manager.

I can get to the http://<WFM>:12291 and to the http://<WFM>:12290   (just in case I am using  <WFM> instead writing my workflow manager url)

I have also added in the wfm server  host file the ip address of the wfe and the site with fqdn, and on the sharepoint servers I added the ip address and the wfm server name in the host file, I have disable loop back check in the registry on the wfm server.

I have deleted the workflow service application proxy with all data associated.
