My understanding is there will not be a new manuals release for FP9.
The new function should be documented in the Release Notes for FP9:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/produc...n/relnotes.pdf
It looks like some of the same information is in Info Center here:

Well ... The manual exists, but most recent delivery *as a manual* is
probably for V8.2 (FP7). It looks like the Info Center already
publishes the whole new section for Automatic Storage
(http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce.../c0012278.htm),
which from the notations in the margin appears to be new in FP9, plus
the one little bit on automatic storage in the Documentation Updates
portion from the release notes. I''m a bit confused why the Release
Notes has just that and not the whole new section if this is new in FP9
and didn''t exist before. The manual reference in Info Center is
apparently premature until the next delivery of the *Administration
Guide: Implementation*.
