I joined in a new company, They provided system to all the employees as i joined newly still i was not allocated for developer machine. I joined as a Dot net developer since i was free, for practice purpose i asked them to install visual studio express 2012

for windows,visual studio express 2012 for web and registered the same by linking up the outlook account in laptop provided by

the company. As per the terms and conditions we can use express editions for free. I would request you to go through the mail and confirm the same.

If we cannot use the same. Please mention which version of visual studio available for free download and useful for practice.

Also if this forum is not applicable for these questions please provide the appropriate support mail/forum for the same.

I have one big advice for you: forget "Express", use free-of-charge (under certain condition) Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition. This is the first version which offers Community Edition, without the limitation of "Express". Besides, I think this is a very good version, perhaps the very best after VS 2008.

I also have great expectations of future VS 2015, but I want to wait until final official release (not presently available "preview"), scheduled for November 2015.
