Hi,
I am creating my own small windows application through VS2010. I need more information about how can I host this (Like make it available for the users).

One good option would be creating a website and asking the users to download the software from that. But my application needs frequent update. (ie) Every time the user starts the application the, it has to contact the server and get few details.

Here my question is how can I implement this server. And as I am a begineer in this, I don't wanna invest a lot on this. Kindly let me know what are the possibilities that I can have.

Hi You can go VPS (Virtual Private Server) from 3rd Party or
If you can establish your own server by getting static IP from your internet Service provider
and Port forward your Modem/Router. Each Modem/Router have different way to do it. but you can get it from thier website
