I currently created a VM server which is also a domain and file server. Then I created a WM workstation and join this to the domain and try mapping the drive manually but every time I restart the workstation the mapped drives disappears.

I created a batch script on the netlogon to auto mount the mapping but does not work. Any solutions or alternate way to do this?

Did you checked the checkbox "Reconnect at sign-in" while creating the Map Network drive?

You can also use the script to do that job. The below script is used to map a network drive from storage account. We can use the same script to mount your network drive as well.

# Save the password so the drive will persist on reboot
Invoke-Expression -Command "cmdkey /add:<fileserver hostname> /user:<domain\username> /pass:<user's password>"
# Mount the drive
New-PSDrive -Name Z -PSProvider FileSystem -Root "\\<fileserver hostname>\<sub paths>"
