I have the following challenge and am looking for tips from you. I hope the forum here is the correct address.

Initial situation:
I am pure user of a SP platform in a big company; that means, I have my own site, but no rights to the SP server, unfortunately no SP Designer activated -> Plain Browser. The SP Server is SP 2013. I can't use any other tools or databases, there are no servers, rights or security permissions.

Objective:
Employees enter their times and travel expenses per project per month (e.g. BAZINGA; project A; 20hrs; 100EUR for travel).
So far it is possible in an Excel spreadsheet, this is "renewed" every year (new Excel) and then the year starts all over again. My approach now is to set up this system 1x and get SP to continuously record the times/costs; alternative approach would be to use a blunt table, as before, with Jan-Dez for times and Jan-Dez for travel costs. Then "empty" and in the next year from the beginning, or copy for the new year.

Are there any ideas based on my limitations?

you may create custom list from browser, add necessary columns there and then calculate sum for these columns e.g. using Flow: Calculate Sums and Show Totals.
