I purchased a Toshiba computer that had Windows XP Home Edition installed in it. I lost the disk I created to boot the computer in case Windows stopped working.

I have the product key, so I do not know if I can get a copy through Microsoft. I cannot reboot my computer now. Windows is not loading.

Start with the Toshiba website - they should have your details and should be able to help you. Normally the re-install data is in a second partition on the HDD, but that isn't always the case. So unless the HDD has gone south, or somebody deleted the partition, you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
