I have a sync group with two members attached to a hub database, all of which are Azure SQL databases, not on site.

The sync group was not working. I want to try another another approach to our problem. I tried to delete the members of the group prior to deleting the group itself. However, the group and member databases is still there more than 30 hours later, showing an error but with the two member databases still showing as present. If I click the trash can icon to remove either database I get a message "[database name] Remove Failed - The sync member is already being dropped.

I have been warned not to delete the triggers and tables from the main database. Is there any way I can force removal of the two databases from the sync group and deletion of the sync group?
