We use Azure AD SSO connect to let domain users automatically log in to their office 365 when logged in to their domain computers. Most of the time it works fine but lately the SSO sometimes stops working and Office 365 asks for authentication. Has anyone else experienced this issue and/or knows how to resolve it?

Hi Brian,

Can you describe more details about the conditions under which the SSO stops working? It is possible that you have a policy in place in your tenant that can cause this and enforce the application. 

Check to ensure that the feature is enabled on your tenant, that all forests have been enabled for SSO, that the token lifetime is correct, and that there is nothing forcing the authentication after a certain time period or on certain conditions.
