Hello everybody,

We have a problem in my company since our recent Windows10 Update. The serverside bar in Microsoft Office 2016 is missing, if we open a document in SharePoint via hyperlink. Documents are opening in read-only. Filepath is correct though.

Fix via registry "OpenDocumentsReadWriteWhileBrowsing" is working, but we don't know, why we need the fix under Windows 10. Windows 7-Clients with Microsoft Office 2016 are working perfectly fine and don't need that fix.

Our preferred Browser for SharePoint: Internet Explorer 11 32-Bit.

I can only see differences between Windows7- and Windows 10-Client on the activated addons. Office Document Cache Handler-Addon is missing under Windows 10.

Do you have any ideas? :-)

It seems like a compatibility issue, it's hard to tell the root cause of the issue.
