This question has been asked a few times, by different people on this site but as yet I cannot find a solution.

Problem:I have a set of PowerPoint Presentations (saved as .PPSX) which contain buttons, with actions, that take you through the presentations depending on the choices you make. This all works when stored on my PC but when I upload the presentations to SharePoint the buttons are no longer selectable or clickable.

Possible work arounds:1) Set the files to open directly in PowerPoint (skip the web browser part) but then the user has to click on presentation view; I'm looking for a much slicker solution that that.

2) I could embed each slide in a frame but that would result in thousands of frames on thousands of SharePoint pages; messy and time consuming.

Per my test, the buttons in PowerPoint presentations is clickable when opening the PowerPoint file with OWA.
