If you want to install SQL server 2014 standard on Windows Server 2008 R2, please make sure Windows 2008 R2 SP1. Please refer to Hardware and Software Requirements for Installing SQL Server 2014.
Please note that Windows Server 2008 R2 is approaching the end of its support lifecycle. Please refer to End of support for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
