I am installing Office Communications Server 2007 R2 64 Bit on Windows 2008 x64 which already has SQL Server 2008 Standard edition on it.
In the middle of installation, OCS 2007 R2 tries to install SQL Server 2005 Express Edition and client. Since a higher version of this product exists, installation fails and exits.
Is there a way to instruct OCS 2007 R2 that SQL Server 2008 is already there and use it?
I really appreciate clues and hint.

There is no way to do this for the Standard Edition version of OCS.  If you install the Enterprise Edition instead you can tell it to use the already installed SQL 2008 although, having both on the same machine is not recommended.
