Hello,

We're facing intermittent issues with SharePoint 2010 designer workflow added to SharePoint 2013 sites. It is a list workflow

Workflows contains multiple stages in which columns are updated

Workflows are not starting for few items. When we go to item -> workflows, nothing showing up beneath Running workflows and Completed workflows. At times, workflow status is also getting cleared for few items which showed before under Running workflows or Completed workflows

Please advise

Hi, 

There is workflow auto clean up job will deletes old workflow instances and related tasks, including the workflow status.

For workflow can’t start, check whether caused by history list is too large similar as below thread.

If the issue not related to workflow history list, try to use ‘log to history’ to debug which step caused error.
