Hi All

I have been developing an application for over 4 years now and am entering marketing stage. I have gone through CPOL page here. With some talk of CPOL being restrictive about use of code in commercial softwares here, can anyone clarify whether

1.Is it necessary to include this notice with my software installation?
2.Should I mention names of contributors of code I have used from codeproject? This becomes security issue - if someone wants to hack my software, they can just find out what the contributors have done on codeproject.
3.Will there be any "exipiry date" for the license?

Can anyone with legal background clarify please?

Since the blog post you referenced is much older than the CPOL license, I feel pretty comfortable saying that there is no problem using CPOL licensed components in a commercial product, it even says so in the first part of the license.

The license does not have an attribution clause, so I would also say that there is no need to identify where you got the code from or who contributed.
