I followed this Building secure web applications with Windows virtual machines on Azure from Official Azure Team to successfully deploy their sample architecture on Azure. No VMs have been deployed yet. But as shown below, bill for daily cost is showing daily costs for several disks. I checked on my Azure portal to verify there are no VMs or any sort of disks installed yet. Why then the daily cost for disks is showing here?

I have verified by searching on the search box on top of Azure portal that there are no disks. When I click on a search result titled Disks, as shown below, it takes me to disks page that is empty.

Have you actually verified that your subscription does not contain any managed disks?

Disks can exist independently of VMs.
