We have a 4 servers farm that worked fine up to some time ago.
recently, it takes up to a minute to load pages. First and consequent. Sometimes it shows "HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found." and you have Ctrl F5 to reload.

I stopped all Distributed cache and did 

"netsh int tcp set global rsc=disabled"

I also tested the connection from the 2 web front end servers to SQL and it is fine.

What can the problem be?

You could use the methods below for narrowing down the issue.

1. Increase the connection time-out setting in IIS.

2. Reboot SharePoint server.

3. Check if the SharePoint server meets the hardware requirement according the article below.
