There are a number of reasons why the installation might fail. What error message do you receive and what do you see in the server logs? 

Most often AD Connect installation errors happen for two reasons - either you are entering the wrong credentials at one of the steps during the wizard setup or there is a bug with the version of AAD. Another reason could be an issue with the registration keys.
