We have an infopath form with attachments option(migrated from SP2010) and forms are submitted in a form library in SP2016. When user trying to attach 25MB file (max) the form takes much time to load and sometimes the form is being timed out. Once attached the submission also taking long time. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Hi sundharvijay, 

As we known, InfoPath form attachment size is limited to 5MB, 25 MB is too lager. 

While the file attachment control in InfoPath is a great feature it can really cause performance problems in your forms.  

There is a solution and that is to use your own custom code to save the file attachment to a SharePoint document library and then save a link to that document in the form.  this means that users will experience a slight delay when the file is actually uploaded to the document library (when they attach in InfoPath) but opening and saving the form will be fast because the attachment is not stored in the form.
