Question as in title. Will VS2017 run on new Microsoft's tablet Surface Go? I asked this question on MS facebook fanpage, but they told me to ask for it there.

The Surface Go doesn't meet the specifications, according to the Intel specs, the processor is 1.6GHz, where Visual Studio 2017 has a minimum of 1.8GHz.

If you ignore that, and switch if from Windows 10 S to Windows 10, then the storage is also quite restrictive, the cheaper model only having 64GB of eMMC (this is the hard disk equivalent).

So I would say no, and even if you did try, the small storage would really get in the way of what workloads you could install.
