I was wondering if it is possible to deploy an azure function with access to my virtual machine which resides in a vnet in azure and in a subnet with a private IP address.

I need to access my VM through its private IP address from the azure function. I would appreciate it if you could let me know.

There is no limitation from Azure Function side. For example if you have C# code which can communicate with VM you can can move it to C# azure function.
