It is possible to get a CCR directly from HV, subject to some limitations; it has to be a set of data that can be expressed in a single query, and there are size limitations as well. I don't have an example to share with you on how to do it; if you can use the .NET SDK, you can use HealthRecordSearcher.GetTransformedItems, use the "toccr" transform, and use request/response tracing to see what request xml it generates. If this isn't practical, please reply and I'll see if I can find some time to do a quick sample for you.
