Hey Guys,

I'm getting confused on where I need to get my information on this, so posting here for clarification. Basically I need to create a Proof of Concept here for our business to show a Windows container which:

a) Runs IIS

b) Runs a full fat (non Core) ASP.NET website

My development machine is a Windows 10 anniversary machine.

Q1 - Now can you run Windows Server 2016 docker images on a Windows 10 machine or do i need to run nanoserver images?

Q2 - I have read though that nanoservers currently dont run IIS, is that correct?

Q3 - Can nanoserver containers run full fat ASP.NET sites?

Q4 - If nanoservers are not sufficient, i presume i have to create a Windows Server 2016 VHD and develop locally on that to create my custom docker images?

i'm struggling to find a good comphrehesive guide I know this has just been released our of TP, which is fine, but some help you would be appreciated.
