解决方案

根据我的经验，这可能有两个原因：

In my instance of Sharepoint Online, I have developed a workflow using Sharepoint Designer, with a Task Process Action in it. I intent to assign a Task Process to each member of a "Sharepoint" Group. However that does not seems to be working even if I have verified both the setting "Assign a task to each member with group" as checked. And also the property of the action, i have ensured to have Expand Group as "Yes". 

The strange aspect of this was a sudden malfunction as it was working fine about an hour ago and with virtually no change made to the workflow the functionality stopped working, ie Assigning a individual Workflow Task item to each member of the group.  

Can anyone suggest what might be the cause, had this been an onpremise Sharepoint instance I would suspected a hotfix or patching activity, but since this is on Sharepoint Online I am quite clueless about the sudden issue. 

Would really appreciate any help here.

In my experience it could be for two reasons:

1) Have you checked that the group that you are adding in the Workflow Task has the flag "Who can view the membership of the group?" is Everyone?, change it to everyone.

2) That you have any problem with the related Content Type. I have had the same problem and it was because I had a lookup field of the Content Type (where you are running the workflow) empty, check it.
