The WE8S instances that I am creating fail to load 42 days after installation. 

Specifically, the normal behavior is to turn on the device, see a BIOS load screen, have a dark screen for about 40 seconds, and then SJJ Shell activates, and finally my kiosk program activates.

After 42 days, turning on the device shows the BIOS load screen, and then the screen goes dark and nothing ever appears on it again. The device is not frozen, since when I hit the device's power button, it performs some HDD activity and then turns off after a few seconds. I've found nothing in any logs indicating an issue (though it's possible I've not examined them very well).

How do I know it's 42 days? Because I've artificially increased the date in BIOS one day at a time until it fails to load. I've done this from a number of different dates, and each time, the time period is 42 days. This happens -- with the same period -- with or without having contacted the MS licensing server (e.g., doing `cscript slmgr.vbs /ato`). When I do contact the licensing server, it is with what I believe to be a valid production license.

Does anyone have an idea of what the problem might be? Perhaps a periodic desire to contact a licensing server? Or a password reset or other info prompt that doesn't appear for some reason?

Also, does anyone have a suggestion as to what logs would be helpful to look in?
