Dear respected,

I purchased an Acer Laptop Acer v3-571g, which came with pre installed windows 8, Everything was good then I installed windows 8.1 from the marketplace. Later with time it started to slow down and started crashing on me when I upgraded the ram 4GB+8GB.

So foolishly I cleaned up the HDD drive saving the Acer OEM preload software's and drivers. I some how saved the windows 8.1 key through a key finder. I read somewhere that key will work on my windows 8 too as well as windows 8.1.

I am running through legacy bios as UEFI cant find any bootable device ( I feel may be because I clean format the whole HDD)

I am literally stuck now I installed windows 8 fresh hoping that 8.1 key will work but it dint. :/ I feel I m doomed. I would request if anyone of you give me a step process so I can continue and get my windows activated :'(.

Please help me out, Any more details I would be happy to give.
