You can Install Win Phone SDK 8.0 on any other drive.However there is a catch. If you have any other Visual Studio 2012 based SKU(like Ultimate,Pro,Premium,Win8express) on A particular drive, you can not change the location for Windows Phone SDK. As Windows Phone SDK install at the same location as the First SKU has gone (As All SKUs share binaries with each other for servicing reason,So to ensure only one copy of a file exist on system)
