We use TFS 2015 and tried to retrieve all the user information and their roles on each projects.

We could export the audit log and the information is not very useful. It mix both user and user roles together.  The information is not very clear and useful.  Is there any better way to do this?

Could anyone tell me if there is any TFS default reports which could do this also?

It seems your issue is about the TFS and our forum is to discuss the VS IDE, per this announcement and we can report a problem with TFS itself on Developer Community, provide a suggestion on UserVoice, get advice on Stack Overflow, and get support on TFS Support, thank you for your understanding.

BTW, as far as I know, there is no such report but if you want to retrieve all the user information and their roles on each projects, you can have a look at this tool: Change groups and permissions with TFSSecurity
